George Lee Lininger

George Lee Lininger, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 65 in Akron City, Ohio, United States. He was born on June 22, 1959, to Jim Lininger and Grace C. Lininger.

George was married to his loving spouse, Cheryl Lininger, in 1982. He followed her in death 22 hours later. Together, they had three wonderful children: Michael Lininger (Katie), LG Lininger, and Sarah Mohan (Justin). George also leaves behind his two cherished grandsons, Archer and Patrick, as well as his siblings, Bill Lininger (Debbie), and Diane Lininger.

George attended Springfield High School, graduating in 1977. He went on to further his education at Stark State University, earning his degree in 2012. Throughout his career, George worked at Windstream, Ohio Pure Foods, the local bowling alley and for his own company, G Electric.

In his free time, George enjoyed hobbies such as being an electrician and mechanic. He spent most of his free time fixing vehicles and helping his friends and family. George was known for his dedication to his work and his family, always putting others before himself.

George's passing was due to a sudden heart attack, leaving his loved ones in shock and mourning. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
