George A. "Bud" McCain
George A. "Bud" McCain, 63, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bud attended Faith Family Church and enjoyed collecting movies. Preceded in death by his parents Pete and Judy Paksztis; and grandparents Andrew and Elizabeth Hrubik. Survivors include his wife and companion Dora, of 27 years; daughters Paula (Billy) Sesek, Jodi Johnson (Kurt Smith), Jamie (Eric) Burch, and Shauna (Mike) Conley; son Randy (Sherri) Johnson; sister Judith (Edward) Dickey; grandchildren Dustin, Delaney, Kane, Randi, and Mya; special cousin Paula; and many dear friends. "To my darling Buddy, the most courageous man I've ever met, forever in my heart." Calling hours will be Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
