George Reddick, Jr.

George Reddick, Jr., 84, passed away peacefully at home on February 25, 2024 (exactly 5 years to the day after his bride, Mary). Born in Glenwood, NM to George and Genniveve (Miller) Reddick, he resided in the Ravenna, OH area all of his adult life. He retired from Standard Lafarge, where he worked as a dragline operator. George enjoyed helping people, playing the banjo as well as cards and poker, hanging out in"his castle" (aka garage), where he was known for extensive debates and conversation and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Mary; siblings, Marvin, Julia. He will be sadly missed by his children, Patrick (Heidi), Robert, Mike (Tania), Jeffrey (Christy), Joey (Mindy); grandchildren, Jodi, Lizbeth, Levi, Ryan, Kayla, Danielle, Joshua, Jordan, Kyle, Autumn, Christian; great grandchildren, Skylynn, Harmony, Salara, Cooper, Oakley, Thomas, Noah; sister, Jody (Bob); several nieces and nephews.

Per George's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of his life at a later date.
