George E Robishaw

George E. Robishaw, 78, passed away on August 4, 2023. He was born on August 14, 1944 the son of the late John and Vivian Robishaw. He was a man of great faith and was a member of Goodyear Heights Baptist Church. He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. George was proud of his tomato garden that he planted yearly. George had many achievements but his greatest was his love for his family. George will always be remembered by friends and family for being loving, faithful, supportive, dependable and caring.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
George is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Rhea Robishaw; son Scott Robishaw; daughter Wendi Robishaw; siblings John (Nina) Robishaw and Treva Lance; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 14th, from 4:00 to 6:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron 44305) where service will be held at 6:00pm with Pastor Ed Witchey officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Tumor Foundation to fund research for a cure to end neurofibromatosis.
