George W. Laird III, 57, peacefully passed away on April 13, 2016. He was born on March 29, 1959. George was a devoted Browns fan, enjoyed playing Magic, and loved spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed.
George was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley, and father, George W. Laird Jr. He is survived by his mother, Dollie Miller; daughters, Lorna (Kevin) Cross, Kim L. Brightwell; brothers Mark and Rick; grandchildren, Doug, Danielle and Devin; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Family will welcome guests on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 12-3pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131. N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service will be held at 3pm. Cremation will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made at the funeral home.
