Georgia I. Robison, 94, of Akron, passed away July 5, 2006. She was born June 25, 1912, in Falkville, Alabama, the daughter of the late Ollie V. & Ida Mae (Smith) NeSmith. Georgia will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Inez Stiles and son-in-law, Robert Hurst. Georgia is survived by her her daughters, Nancy (Ralph) Wise of Suffield and June Hurst of Akron; grandchildren, Jacqueline, Belinda, Wendy and Neil; great-grandchildren, David, Samantha, Jack, Ben, Cayman and Ralph; sister, Gwendolyn Sparkman of Sheffield, Alabama. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. with Pastor Sharon Bauman officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. Monday until the service begins. Interment will take place at Hillside Memorial Park.
