Georgia J. Nutt
Georgia J. Nutt, 87, went home to be with the Lord on April 21, 2006. Georgia retired from Akron Public Schools and was a longtime member of Grace Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed watching the Indians. Above all, Georgia loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Nutt; granddaughter, Lori Jo Perella; three brothers; and five sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (David) Downs; son, Dennis (Sharon) Nutt; grandchildren, David John Roy Downs, Elizabeth Jeanette Downs, Dennis M. (Denise) Nutt, David B. (Lisa) Nutt, and Randolph E. (Christi) Nutt; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Monday from 7-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12 p.m. with Rev. Phil Hulgin officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
