Georgia L. Paulin
Georgia L. Paulin, 72, of Tallmadge, passed away on April 28, 2005. She was born on May 13, 1932 in Lobelville, Tennessee. Georgia was very active with the Ladies Auxillary of the V.F.W. Post 8487 of Mogadore. She had a laughter that was contagious, and a love of family, especially her grandchildren. Georgia is preceded in death by her parents, Porter and Mildred (Bates) Burcham; husbands, Clarence M. Childress, Albert Frederick, and William J. Paulin; sister Virgie Arnold and brother Joseph Burcham. She is survived by her daughters: Rebecca Glaze of Phoenix, AZ, Pamela Childress of Tallmadge, and Patricia (Sonny) Mordew of Kent; son Clarence (Sharie) Childress of Kenmore; brothers: John (Peggy) Burcham of Michigan, Robert (Beth) Burcham of Canal Fulton, Harold (Sue) Burcham of Michigan and James (Mitzi) Burcham of Akron; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and very special friend Willie Hensley of Brimfield. Calling hours will be Sunday, May 1, 2005 from 2-5 PM at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial Contirbutions may be made to The American Cancer Society, Medina Portage Summit, 1900 W. Market St., Akron, OH 44313-6927.
