Georgia L. Riccilli

Georgia L. Riccilli, 83, passed away on September 19, 2022. She was born on January 28, 1939 the daughter of Jessie and Hillis Ward. Georgia was a woman of faith and was a member of Calvary Temple. She retired after many dedicated years of service from Edwin Shaw Hospital. Georgia loved to go camping with her family. She also loved doing crafts, sewing and making quilts. She donated many of those beautiful quilts to people on Hospice care. Georgia had the most caring heart, and a beautiful smile. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Gerald Ward, Samuel Ward, and Judith Ward.

She will be dearly missed by her husband of 51 years, John Riccilli Sr.; daughter Jamie Kelley; son John (Natalie) Riccilli Jr.; grandchildren, Will Shultz, John Mitchell (Lauren) Schultz, Gian Riccilli, Jessie Trentini; great grandson Rowan Schultz.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, (131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305) where services will be held at 1:00PM with Pastor John Fairchild officiating.

Interment will be held at Hillside Memorial Park.
