Gerald "Jerry" Carroll
Gerald "Jerry" Carroll, 76, of Mogadore, went to be with the Lord on February 6, 2007 at Heather Knoll Nursing Home. Gerald retired from General Tire in 1982. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Carroll; parents, John E. & Cynthia (Powell) Carroll; and 4 brothers. Left to mourn his loss are his sons, Donald (Susan) Carroll and Danny (Tammy) Carroll; daughter, Brenda (George) Chalfant; brother, Elmer (Patricia); daughter-in-law, Sandra Carroll; grandchildren, April (Jeff) Smith and Eric (Colleen) Chalfant; great-grandchildren, Nelia and Kaleb Smith. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. and Friday from 12 - 1 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. with funeral services beginning Friday at 1 p.m., Pastor David Weyrick officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore.
