Gerald (Jerry) Eugene Fargo, 80, of Jackson Township passed away on January 24th, 2011 due to a sudden illness. Jerry was born on October 4, 1930 in Akron, Ohio to the late Edward and Geneva Fargo. Jerry retired from the Defense Language Institute of the Presidio of Monterey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward Fargo and Charles Fargo; and step-son, Keith McLean. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Chloe Ann; children, Keith, Kay, Curt, Tom, Wells, and Rolph, children of Sally Fargo; step-children, Debbie, Linda, Donald, Sherrie, David and Kevin; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 28th at 11:00 am at Grace Bible Church, 5781 Manchester Road, Akron, Ohio, 44319 - Pastor Jerry Harpool officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Bible Church.
