Gerald G. Altizer, Sr.

Gerald G. Altizer, Sr., 79, of Akron, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013. He was born on June 9, 1934 in Christian, WV to the late Simon and Rebecca Altizer. Gerald was a kind hearted and generous husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his loving wife Teresa Altizer, daughter Crystal Bisel, son Gerald Altizer, Jr., stepson Ralph Ramos, 10 grandchildren, 16 great granchildren, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Hillside Memorial Park at a later time.
