Gerald R. Hamilton, 62, passed away on April 11, 2011 from complications of injuries he received in a hit and run accident. Jerry was born on October 7, 1948 in Marion County, West Virginia to the late Lillian and Luther Hamilton. He is survived by his four brothers: Robert (Gloria) Davis, William (Jennie) Davis, James Hamilton and Shirley Swires, Eugene (Deborah) Hamilton. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews: Linda, Cindy, Jack, Bill, Richard and Judy Davis, Tammy, Brittany, Brianna Sines, special niece Tiffany (Brad) and Madison Kaufman, Todd Hamilton, Hollace and Jeffrey Hamilton. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Goswami and the many care managers and staff at Akron City Hospital, Select Specialty Hospital, Akron Manor Care and to the Palliative Care Unit at City Hospital for their care and compassion as Jerry journeyed from this world to the next. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 15th at 2:00 p.m. at the mausoleum chapel at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, State Rd. in Cuyahoga Falls.
