Gerald Thomas Sheaffer

Gerald Thomas Sheaffer of Akron passed away on August 14, 2021. A lifelong resident of Akron, Jerry was born on October 31, 1962 to Robert (Meki) Sheaffer Jr. and Juanita Parker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Trejo.
Jerry is survived by his brothers Bob (Robin Hanshaw) and Bill Sheaffer; sisters Barbara (Russell) Combs and Kindra Wagner; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Jerry loved his Harley Davidson, and could often be found out with the wind in his "hair." His passion was music, and he had a talent for many instruments, including the piano, saxophone, guitar, and vocals. Jerry was in several local bands over the years, where he made many great friends. He was loved dearly by his family and friends, and they will miss him always.
