Geraldine L. Bailey

Geraldine L. Bailey (Lute), 81, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on December 21, 2020. Geraldine was born on October 6, 1939 in Sharon, PA to the late Daniel and Martha (Ankrom) Lute. She graduated from Hickory High School Class of 1957 and married Rex Bailey in 1959. She was a longtime member of the Apostolic Temple of Cuyahoga Falls.
In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Rex; son, Mack; grandson, Brad; and siblings, Ray, Bob, and Lorraine. She will be dearly missed by her sons, Rick (Renee) and Rex (Kathy); daughter-in-law, Debbie; grandchildren, Heidi (William), Josh, Kaleb (Emmily), Kay, Brianna (Matt), and Austin; great-grandchildren, Christine, Logan, Liam, and Aiden; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 10-11 followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Apostolic Temple of Cuyahoga Falls, 1601 Munroe Falls Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Bishop Donald Meade Sr. officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
