Geraldine McBee, 88, passed away July 19, 2009. She was born in Clarksburg, WV, and retired from Goodyear. Geraldine loved to plant flowers in the Spring and bake cookies at Christmas. Preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister. She is survived by her niece, Carolyn (Roy) Wires; great-nephews, Keith (Lisa) Wires and Timothy (Michelle) Wires; great-niece, Wendy Kuster; and great-great nieces and nephews, Austin Kuster, Evan Kuster, Sarah Wires, Grace Wires and Michael Wires. Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 21, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a graveside service will follow immediately at Hillside Memorial Park with Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating.
