Geraldine "Geri" (Boyd) Muth

Geraldine "Geri" (Boyd) Muth, born April 28, 1940, passed away March 16 after a 16 year battle with lung disease. She was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple and retired from Ferriot, Inc. She is preceded in death by her sister, Loretta "Rene" Boyd Beach; mother and father, Dulcie & Walter Boyd; brother-in-law, John Beck; sister-in-law, Julie Boyd; and family pet, Evinrude. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Norm; sons, Randy and wife, Kim of Canton, Brian and girlfriend, Holly Pletcher of Chillicothe; daughter, Stacy of Dallas, Texas; brothers, John Boyd of Sun City, Arizona and Jim Boyd and Sue of Atwater; sisters, Merl Beck of Akron, Doris Egnor and husband, Larry of Chandler, Arizona, Dot Falkenstein and Russ of Hobe Sound, Florida; grandchildren, Joey and Jordy Muth and Keith Pletcher; and a host of treasured nieces, nephews and friends. Calling hours will be Sunday from 5 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Dallas Billington officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Portage County Visiting Nurse Service and Hospice, 4080 Brimfield Plaza, Kent OH 44240.

God saw you were getting tired,
