"Together Again"
Geraldine (Slabaugh) Stewart, age 91, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on December 3rd 2021.
Born April 4th 1930, Jeri retired from the US Postal Service in 2001 with 25 years of service. She was certified in belly dancing through the University of Akron. She had a "bachelors in clogging" earned in 1991 - something she loved to do with her children and grandchildren. A devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She loved baking and most importantly spending time with family. She was a strong willed woman who knew what she valued out of life. She respected the ideals of others, yet held firm to her beliefs. She was generous and always thought of others before herself. She was a kind gentle soul, with a heart of gold who didn't have an enemy in the world. All that knew her, loved her. We hope you are dancing in the sky. Fly high sweet lady fly high.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold (Bo) Stewart; son, Terry Bo Stewart; granddaughter, Jamie Marie Brown; parents, Charles and Mable Slabaugh; siblings, William Slabaugh, Betty Lou (Bunny) Kisha, and Jackie Magill; brothers-in-law, Cecil Stewart, and Glenn Stewart and his wife Mary Stewart; sister-in-law, Dorie Stewart; and daughter-in-law, Nancy Jo Stewart.
