Gina Calcei, 58, passed away August 5, 2022 after a brief illness. Born in Akron, Ohio to Pellegrino and Marie (Schumann) Calcei, she was a lifelong Akron area resident. She worked as an accountant at Carter Lumber. Gina enjoyed reading, playing numbers games, her cats Gigi and Halo as well as spending time with her family.
Preceded in death by her parents, she will be sadly missed by her daughter, Faith Moore; siblings, Eugene (Kathleen) Calcei, Linda (Mike) Hamilton, Teri Matulis (Steve Yunkin), Sue Rushin; special family friends, Kevin (Diane) Moore; nieces, nephews and friends.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Gina's life will be happening in a few weeks, please contact Gina's immediate family for more information.
