Gisele M. Duchaine

Gisele M. Duchaine a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend passed away February 4, 2021 at age 92 with her family by her side. She was born in Trois Riviers Quebec, Canada to Antonio and Aurea (Sevigny) Duchaine. From there she moved to Sudbury Ontario, Canada. From Sudbury she and her husband (Raymond) moved to the Akron area where they resided since 1964. Gisele enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years Raymond, brother Marcel, sisters Jean, Theresa, and Denise, and niece Johanne Burford. She will be sadly missed by her children Nicole Duchaine, Michelle (James "Dee") Shannon, Alain (Gwen) Duchaine; grandchildren Adam, Bridget, Shane, Ashley, and Justin; great grandchildren Ashley, Nick, Taylor, AJ, Samantha, Shea, Sophie, and Sophia; Siblings Anita Peters and Mario Duchaine and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date. Those who wish to make a memorial donation can do so in Gisele's name to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
