Gladys E. Jarrard, 90, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went home to be with the Lord April 9, 2005. Gladys will be rejoicing in heaven with her husband, Ernie and her brother-in-law, Eston. She was greatly loved by her only daughter, Peggy and son-in-law, Jim Tatton. She will be dearly missed by her five grandchildren and their spouses: Lauren and John Livigni, Bob and Kris Simmons, Mark and Shannon Simmons, Elissa and Carl Hughes, and Jodi and Tim Stem. She will be forever remembered by her 12 great-grandchildren: Crystal, Johnny, Bobby J., Levi, Brooke, Rachael, Lindsey, Ashleigh, CJ, Adam, Christyan, and Raejehn. She will always hold a special place in the heart of her sister-in-law, Lula. Gladys was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Tallmadge where she enjoyed the fellowship of her dear friends, Sonny, Betty, and Leona. Gladys treasured the many special luncheons she shared with Sonny and Betty and looked forward to the faithful phone calls each day from Leona. The family will be holding a private memorial service to honor Gladys' life and celebrate her legacy of love.
