Gladys "Louise" Coontz, 78, of Akron, passed away February 2, 2014. She was born in Prichard, WV on April 7, 1935 to the late Wayman and Gladys McKee.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Stewart Coontz and Truman Coontz; son, Neal; brothers, Paul and Charlie McKee; sister-in-laws, June and Rita McKee. Louise is survived by her children, Pam (Ed) Sanek, Mona (Joe) Caley, Nita (Mike) Weyrick, Rodney Coontz, Debby (Dave) Fagen, Gina (Jim) Cumberlidge; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call on Friday, February 7 from 10-11 a.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will follow callings hours at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dwayne Ray officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
