Glenda M. Davis, 86, of Akron, passed away February 25, 2006. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Josephine Sweeden; husband, Evan Davis; brothers, Lloyd, Willis, and Ellis Sweeden; and sister, Mamie Petty. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Darlene Davis; son, Ronald Davis; brother, John (Clara) Sweeden; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved cats, Rascal, Kazoo, Streaker, and Rusty. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at East Akron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to any cat rescue organization.
