Glendon Neal Milliron, Sr.
Glendon Neal Milliron, Sr., 80, of Akron, passed away June 16, 2013. He was born in New Marshfield, Ohio on April 19, 1933 to the late Jacob and Bernice Milliron. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and retired from Reiter Dairy. He was a longtime member of the South Akron Orioles Nest 167.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; and sister, Jean. He was also preceded in death by his son, Ronald who served in the U.S. Navy.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Joseph Milliron; Glendon Neal Milliron, Jr., Ronald's twin sister Constance (Jim) White, and Woody (Donna) Milliron; fiancee, Jan O'Neal; sisters, Marlene Reed and Twila Gaby; brother, Sherwin Milliron; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday June 19 from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park with military honors provided by Mogadore VFW 8487.
