Glenn Roger Elliott

Glenn Roger Elliott, 68, of Akron, passed away unexpectedly on April 18, 2024. He was born on December 14, 1955 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Naaman and Rose Marie Elliott. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps. During his time in the service he greatly enjoyed his travels, and especially loved getting to visit Spain. Roger had a lifelong love of playing guitar and singing, but his most favorite pastime was fishing.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Melody Marie Elliott (nee Clark); and cousin, Ronnie Webb.

He is survived by his son, Ryan Elliott (Nick Romanoski); and daughter, Rebecca (Brian) Vansickle; siblings, Sue Bowman, Paula (Chet) Rowe, Eugene (Candy) Elliott, Michael (Jennifer) Elliott, Angela (Forest) Henning; companion, Vicki Jackson; mother of his children, Pamela (Robert) Williams; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service for Roger will take place on Friday April 26, 2024 at 6pm at Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, officiated by Pastor Fred Webb. Visitation will take place from 4pm until 6pm.
