Glenn O. Francis, 82, passed away on August 17, 2020. Born in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania to Henry and Hazel (Ritter) Francis he had resided in the Akron area for many years. He retired as a Metallurgist, most recently working for the H. & M. Metal Processing Co. Glenn greatly enjoyed golfing, basketball, playing it in high school, football, baseball and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Bunny Francis, Bernard Francis, Colleen Miele.
He will be sadly missed by son, Glenn, II; former wife, Charlotte; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will plan a memorial gathering at a later time. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Glenn's name to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
