Glenn E. Hodgman

Glenn E. Hodgman, 79, of Randolph Township, passed away surrounded by family on August 18, 2017. He was born on October 14, 1937, son of the late Mildred and Mark Hodgman. Glenn was Honorably Discharged after serving in the Army National Guard for two terms and he was a member of Masonic Victory Lodge 649. He enjoyed camping and hunting with his family and friends, and he loved horses and his dogs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister.

Glenn will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 35 years, Ethel "Rene"; children, Mike (Sandy) Hodgman, Jimmy (Marilyn) Hodgeman, Michelle Hall, Amber Hodgman, Kathryn Hodgeman; brothers, Jim (Pansy) Hodgman and Tom Hodgman; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 4-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 am. Glenn will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery, Randolph Twp. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation, P.O. Box 824061, Philadelphia, PA 19182-4061 for Glenn's great-great niece Anne Taggart.
