Glenn M. Warner, 84, went home to be with the Lord on November 18, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. He was a veteran of the U.S Navy serving in World War II, and retired from O'Neil's. Glenn was a member of the Gospel Crusaders Church, and a member of The Ohio Country Western Music Association. He was the best husband, provider, father and grandfather. Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Betty; children, Diana (Larry) Campbell, Glenn (Lisa) Warner and Donna (Dan) Casto; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Luke (Jean) Warner; sisters, AnnaMae (Don) Bonnett and Ruth (Rollo) Lyeberger; and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Friday, November 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held Saturday, November 21, at 10 a.m. with Rev. John Beers officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gospel Crusaders Church or the Ohio Country Western Music Association.
