Glenn R. Park, "Bear", 77, of Akron, entered into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, May 2, 2020. He was born to parents Glenn H. and Helen L. Park on January 21, 1943 in Akron.
Preceding him in death is his son, Lance Wargo.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Ruth, of 43 years; sisters, Donna (Art) Covin, Debi (David) Derr, and Diane (Rich) Carlson; brother, David (Beth) Park; and several nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bear was a man of strong faith and was a proud veteran having served in the Army. He worked for Firestone for 22 years, eventually retiring from Summa, where he worked for 12 years. Bear loved to do cross-stitch, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all, he loved being with his family.
A celebration of Bear's life will be held at a later date by his family and friends.
