Glenn Alan Penix
Glenn Alan Penix, 53, of Atwater, passed away November 22, 2006 at Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born April 14, 1953 in Akron, Ohio. Glenn was a member of the Asbestos Workers Local #84 and recently worked for Advanced Specialty Contractors. He was a member of the Akron Turner Club. In his free time loved to hunt and enjoyed the outdoors. Glenn was preceded in death by his father, William S. Penix. He is survived by his mother, Vadie Penix (nee Fannin); fiancée, Sue Axelrod; brothers, William R. (Linda), John C. (Carolyn), Russell T. and Stewart Neal (Lynn)and many relatives and close friends. Calling hours will be Sunday from 5 - 7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Jack Earlenbaugh officiating.
