Glenn R. Caldwell

Glenn R. Caldwell, 62, passed away on September 27, 2010. Glenn served with the US Army, 101st Airborne, during the Vietnam conflict. He was the former owner/operator of Action Tire and Rim and had most recently worked at CLS Finishing in Tallmadge. Glenn enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and sports. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Ella Caldwell and Flay and Winona Greeley; and his father, Richard Caldwell. Survivors include his good friend and caregiver, Cheryl Richards; mother, Ruth Caldwell; daughters, Tiffany (Adam) Flory and Ashley (Adam) Paxton; son, Michael; sisters, Carol (Clifford) Calvert and Sally (Gary) Beaumont; brother, Larry (Linda)Caldwell; several grandchildren; and many friends. A funeral service will be held Thursday, 2 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main St., Akron, OH 44310.
