Glenn Winter

Glenn W. Winter, 79, passed away on October 17, 2010, after a short battle with cancer. Glenn served with the US Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion. He retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. after 30 years of service. Survivors include his beloved wife, Suzanne, of 58 years; daughters, Deborah (Gilbert) Sisk and Dianne (James) Pipes; son, Douglas (Donna); brothers, William and Ronald (Gloria); grandchildren, Jason, Sarah (Bryan), James, and Steven; great-granddaughter, Audra. Calling hours will be Thursday, 4-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
