Glenna Marietta Farmer, 82, of Akron, passed away September 19, 2005. Marietta was a longtime member of Wintergreen Ledges Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Farmer; son, David Farmer; and daughter, Norma Gill. She is survived by her daughters, Donna (Gerry) McBurney, Sandy Schoenly, and Naomi Lynn Karell; sons, Donald Henry (Liz) Farmer and George E. (Denise) Farmer; sister, Juanita Cramer; brother, Chester (Hannah) Arthur; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call TODAY from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Wintergreen Ledges Church of God, 1889 V. Odom Blvd, with Pastor Jim Roma officiating. Visitation for one hour prior to service. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Online condolences may be made to www.newcomerfamily.com.
