Glenna Ruth Davis
Glenna Ruth Davis, 85, of Lakemore, passed away January 26, 2010 at Pebble Creek Senior Care Residence. Glenna was born in Phico, West Virginia on August 19, 1924. She was a longtime member of the Community Gospel Tabernacle and more recently a member of Lakeview Lighthouse Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Luther N. Brown; brothers, Roy, Shirl, and Woodrow Bias and Albert Price; and sister, Pearl Price. She will be deeply missed by her husband, James R. Davis; children, Marshall (Judy) Brown, Judy (Ed) Woodard, Carroll (Larry) Dickinson, Amelia Joy (Stanley) Hebb, and Aaron (Gail) Brown; fifteen grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeview Lighthouse Church, 1065 Kubler Trail (off Waterloo Rd.), Akron. Interment at North Canton Cemetery.
