Glenna G. Speegle, 79, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2018. A lifelong Akron resident, she was born June 7, 1938 in Justell, KY to late parents Edgar and Julie Adams. Glenna loved spending time with family, taking vacations, spending time at the farm, and enjoying her flower gardens, for which she won awards.
In addition to her parents, Glenna was preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Speegle, and brothers, Robert Morgan and Dean Adams. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Frank Speegle; children, Steve (Theresa) Speegle, Kathy (Tiny) Thomas, Patrick (Lisa) Speegle; grandchildren, Kenny (Myra) Speegle, Jeremy (Traci) Speegle, Tabitha Manholt, David (Stephanie) Freeman, Frankie Thomas, Tricia Speegle; great-grandchildren, Kyler, Kellen, Tate, Jameson, Aiden, Olivia, Hayden, Blaine, Colton; and brother, Donald Adams.
Visitation will be held from 10am to 1pm on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service to begin at 1pm. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron to follow.
