Gloria Jean Cox, born June 10, 1971 in Akron, Ohio, gained her wings on June 7, 2023 at 9:30 p.m. at Summa Akron City Hospital.
Gloria is survived by her mother Sandra; kids William, Angel and Ryan; grandkids Nevaeh, Hope, Alyssa, Peyton and O'Riain; all of her friends, "adopted" grandkids, "adopted" kids, cousins and many others.
In Heaven, Gloria was reunited with her granny Marilynn, "Mama" Peggy and "Papa" Paul Cox.
Gloria Cox was more than just a beautiful soul who could change the mood in a room with her beautiful smile. Gloria left an impact on everybody she met, and everyone loved her. She will be greatly missed.
All are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Friday, June 16th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 17th at 11:00 a.m. Following services, Gloria will be cremated, and will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron.
