Gloria Gwendolyn Haralson, 79, went home on December 26, 2008. She was a life resident of Tallmadge and a graduate of Tallmadge High School. Gwendolyn retired from Tallmadge schools after 15 years of service, where she worked in the cafeteria. She was a firm believer in God and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved family, children, camping, shopping, traveling, and animals. She won. She had the most baskets. Survivors include her husband Richard of 60 years; sons Paul (Nancy) and Gary (Crystal); daughters Pam (Scott) and Lisa (Terry); brother Robert (Charlotte); 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the nurses of Hospice of Summa for their care and support. Calling hours will be Monday, 10 a.m. to Noon at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with a funeral service to follow at Noon. Interment at Tallmadge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Hill Presbyterian Church.
