Gordon Glen Dugger, 84, was greeted in heaven by his Lord and the love of his life, Donna on October 13, 2014.
Glen retired from Goodyear after 38 ½ years of service and served proudly in the Merchant Marines. He was a lifelong caregiver to many and his motto was "No need to pay me back, just pass it on."
Preceded in death by his wife, Donna Jean; second wife, Marianne; and third wife, Judy; and his many siblings. Survivors include his children, Brenda (William) Hunt, Ricky (Heidi), Keith (Laura), Tina (Ron Oliver) Johnson, and Tammy (Sparky) Dugger; stepdaughter, Nicole (Eric) Sibbing; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Dolores Bowers; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Saturday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron-Pawsibilities or your local American Legion Post.
