Graham G. Anderson

Graham G. "Andy" Anderson, 81, went home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2016. He was born in Akron, Ohio on October 14, 1934 to the late Burhl and Margaret (Sankey) Anderson and resided in the Akron area most of his life.
Andy was a U.S. Army veteran and retired as a General Foreman from McNeil Akron, Inc. After retiring, he continued his career with Rogers Industrial Products, Inc. along with a few other machine shops where he shared his knowledge and strong work ethic. He was an avid bowler back in the day and loved spending time with his buddies out on the golf course. Every Sunday, you could find Andy watching his favorite team, the Cleveland Browns, surrounded by his children and grandchildren. The Sunday dinners at mom and dad's house are memories that his children and grandchildren will cherish forever. God blessed Andy with a magnificent smile that could light up a room. His laughter and good hearted nature was a comfort to all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his parents, Burhl and Margaret; brothers, James, Robert, and Kenneth; and sisters, Nancy Jo and Joyce. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 58 years, Janice; children, Vicki Anderson (Randall Gill), Sherry Marmaduke (Donald), Mark Anderson (Christine), Michael Anderson, and Kimberly Anderson; brothers, Dennis Anderson (Penny) and Paul Anderson; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 10:30-1:30 followed by a 1:30 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
