Grant "Bud" Keener
Grant "Bud" Keener, 70, passed away on May 25, 2005. Grant was a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God and retired from Akron Public Schools after 39 years of service. Preceded in death by his parents Huber Keener and Dora Catherine Vroman. Survivors include his wife Terry; sister Irene (Harold) Harper; brother Harry Monroe; and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral serivce Wednesday, 1p.m. at Evangel Temple Assembly of God, 688 Dan St. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery in Hartville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Evangel Temple Assembly of God.
