Gregg A. Bostick passed away Tuesday morning, December 20, 2016. Born May 6, 1957 in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of Charles Bostick and Carl and Maryann Tell. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son, some of his proudest moments were standing on the sidelines cheering for his son and daughter as they played sports. Or in later years, reading stories to his granddaughter or talking monster trucks with his grandson. An avid fisherman, if he wasn't fishing on a lake somewhere, he could be found cheering for any Cleveland sports team or for an Earnhardt on the NASCAR racetrack. A wine steward for much of his life, he retired from Acme Market in 2005.
Gregg is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Lynn (Case) Bostick, his son Derek (spouse Amber) Bostick, his daughter Andrea (spouse Will) Nelson, his grandson Jaxson Bostick, his granddaughter Amelia Nelson, his two sisters Kay (spouse Bill) Staudt and Kim (spouse Rick) Elkins, his two sister-in-law's Mary (spouse Brian) Amacher and Roxann Case, his father and mother-in-law Bob and Carolyn Case, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his faithful furry companions Morgan and Boston. He was met in Heaven by his father, Charles, his mother, Maryann, and his brother-in-law and fishing buddy John Case.
A mass in celebration of Gregg's life will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Parish (2101 17th St SW, Akron OH 44314). Forever in our hearts - we love you!
