Gregoria Labarta Toris, 80, passed away January 18, 2011. She was born in Ena, Spain, and was a member of St.Bernard-St.Mary Church for 30 years. Gregoria was preceded in death by her parents, Felipe and Emilia Labarta; and siblings, Joaquina, Soledad, Lourdes, Basilio, and Juan Labarta. She is survived by children, Sebastian, Oscar, and Lourdes; godson, Edgar Cantera; and many other family members in Spain. Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 20, from 4 to 9 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a prayer service will be held at 9:15 am on Friday, January 21, followed by a funeral mass at 10 am at St. Bernard-St.Mary Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
