Gregory A. "Greg" Cook

Gregory A. "Greg" Cook, 62, passed unexpectedly on December 9, 2017. A lifelong Akron resident, Greg was born July 8, 1955 to late parents Charles and Virginia Cook. He retired from Goodyear in 2016 after 30 years of service. Greg was an alumnus of the University of Akron graduating with a degree in accounting. He enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his Harley and listening to the Rolling Stones.

Greg is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Sheila; children, Aaron and Caitlin; brother, Charlie; nephews, Charlie, Dana, Sean and spouses; Kalie and numerous other great-nieces; several great-nephews and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 4-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association in Greg's memory.
