Gregory J. Falatok, a loving husband and father, passed away on January 9th, 2023, after a brief illness. Greg was born in Akron, Ohio, in 1960 and has been a resident of Suffield Township since 2002. He was a 36-year member of the Gas Workers Union Local 555 as an employee of Dominion East Ohio Gas. After Greg retired in 2018, he spent his days walking his dogs, Teddy and Bobby, working in his yard, and relaxing on his front porch with his wife. Greg was a devoted Cleveland Browns fan and spent his Sunday afternoons yelling at the TV. A lover of life, Greg could make anyone laugh, regardless of the situation, and will forever be known for his wisdom-filled sayings. His generosity was known by many and continued even up to the day of his passing.
Greg met his wife Donna in 1994 while she was his dispatcher for East Ohio Gas. At that moment, Greg knew that Donna was the one to give him orders for the rest of his life. After they married in 1996, they had Joey in May of 1998, which was the happiest day of both their lives.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rosemary Falatok, and brother-in-law Mark Pramuka. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna, and his wonderful son Joey, and will be deeply missed by his siblings, John Falatok (Becky), David Falatok (Lori), Marianne Pramuka, and Michael Falatok (Sara).
A Catholic Mass will take place to honor Greg at St. Joseph's Parish in Randolph on Friday, January 13th at 11 a.m. Friends and Family may gather at the church before the service.
