Grover G. Dobbins

Lake Cable - Grover Glenn Dobbins, 93, passed December 29, 2017. Loving father, grandfather & great-grandfather. Glenn was born in Akron and served in the Army in the China Burma India Theater during WWII. Retired from Goodyear Aerospace in 1986, after 36 years of dedicated service. Preceded in death by father, Phillip; mother, Neitie; siblings, Edna, Clyde, Phillip, Jeanette, Lillian & Charles. Survived by wife, Marjorie (Overlow); son, Michael; daughter, Kim (Gino) Caponi; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mildred (Ralph) Robinson. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial will be held at a later date. A memorial donation can be made in Glenn's memory to: Disabled American Veterans at DAV.org.
