Gurley "Lee" E. Brown, 84, of Akron, passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2018. Lee served in the US Marine Corps, and was a proud member of American Legion Post 449, Moose Lodge 1082, Briar Hill Hunting Club, and the Turkeyfoot Sportsmen's Club. He worked for McNeal Corp., where he eventually retired from. Lee was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting, fishing, boating, and camping.
Lee will be deeply missed by his wife of 47 years, Naomi Brown; sister, Lona; brothers-in-law, James (Valerie) Gerstenslager, Norm (Linda) Gerstenslager; nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Per Lee's wishes, there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
