Guy O. Miller
Guy O. Miller, 80, went home to be with the Lord, suddenly on Saturday, May 31, 2008. He was born in Mouth of Seneca, WV. to the late Winnie and Willie Miller. He lived in the Akron area for over 50 years. Guy worked for what is now called Ameri Gas for 40 years and retired as a manager. He was an Army veteran who served the country proudly in WWII. Guy also worked for many years for his good friend and colleague David Usher. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Eula Piscatelli. Guy is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Nancy (Teter);children Marvin Miller (Alisa), Phyllis Yoders (Bob), and Tricia Miller;grandchildren Robert Jr., Nicole, and Alexis;great grandchild Shamira. Family will receive friends at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd, Akron, on Wednesday, from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Knute Larson officiating. Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to be made to the American Heart or American Lung Associations.
