STOW - Gwen Lane, 92, of Stow passed away February 28, 2023 at Heather Knoll in Tallmadge.
She was born in Beaver Falls, PA, to Ralph and Lorinda Mackell on July 25, 1930.
A graduate of Shaw High School in East Cleveland and Bowling Green State University, Gwen was a retired Kent City Schools teacher.
She was a member of First Congregational Church of Tallmadge, and prior member of Faith United Church of Christ, Dunedin, FL, and Kent United Church of Christ.
Gwen was an avid bridge player and achieved her Silver Life Master designation from the American Contract Bridge League. She was a longtime member of the Cuyahoga Falls Woman's Club, where she enjoyed many friendships and duplicate bridge games.
Gwen is survived by her husband, Gilbert; daughter, Cynthia (Thomas) Lidderdale; son, Douglas (Katherine); grandson, Max; many nieces and nephews.
Per Gwen's wishes cremation has taken place.
