Gwendolyn M. Brady

Gwendolyn "Peggy" M. Brady, 67, of Akron, passed away March 9, 2013. She was born in McRoberts, KY on June 5, 1945 to the late Grover Sr. and Gracie Collins. Peggy enjoyed gospel music, watching Western movies and shows, but most of all she loved cooking and spending time with her family. The family will miss her southern cooking and Christmas peanut butter fudge.

She was preceded in death by two of her brothers and sister.

Peggy is survived by her children, Carl (Peaches) Brady, Michele Patterson, Carolyn Johann, James (Stacy) Brady, Anna (David) Homan, Colleen (John) Bennington; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, with two on the way; 4 brothers and 2 sisters; many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, March 12, from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 13 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Earnest Mounts officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to God's Church of Ravenna.
