H. Jack Parsons

H. Jack Parsons, 84, passed away April 16, 2020 after a recent illness. He was a lifelong resident of Akron, Ohio and the toughest man you could ever meet. He retired from P.I.E. Trucking Co. as a diesel mechanic but his passion was working on Chevy cars and trucks in his own garage. Jack never turned away family members, friends or neighbors that needed help with their vehicle.

Jack leaves behind his beloved wife of 66 years, Delores V. (Reed) Parsons, along with his 5 children, Larry Parsons (Russell), Jack H. (Connie) Parsons, Annette Falasca, Tracey Parsons, and Karie Parsons. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, Jason, Erin, Angela, Bronson, Tino, Julie, Alyssa, Alex, Aaron and Jack, along with 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many neighborhood friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Trevis (Elkins) Parsons, sisters Donna Jean and Dorothy.

No calling hours will be held. The family will have a Celebration of Life service after the Covid-19 shutdown has been lifted. In lieu of flowers, please make your memorial donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
